Dr. Byron Lui, B.Sc., O.D. 

Dr. Byron Lui was born and raised in Toronto and can speak Cantonese. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto with an emphasis on Human Biology. As an undergraduate student, Dr. Lui worked as a research assistant in the Vision Science Research Program at Toronto Western Hospital. His research interests were on eye movements and eye position tracking. Dr. Lui furthered his education at the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry, where he graduated with a Doctorate of Optometry in 2004. His studies at SUNY College of Optometry included a clinical externship at the Northport VA Medical Center, which is a veteran hospital in Long Island, New York. This is where he gained valuable experience in ocular pathology, therapeutics, and head trauma. In addition, Dr. Lui also completed externships at the Ezra Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and Vision Institute of Canada in Toronto, both of which he received extensive experience in pediatrics, binocular vision, and infant vision. Dr. Lui has a particular interest in ocular disease and enjoys interacting with patients on topics of eye care and providing patient education. He has been in private practice in Mississauga for over 14 years and also calls Mississauga his home. Dr. Lui is certified by the Board of Examiners in Optometry in Canada and certified to prescribe Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPA).

Dr. Andrea Koo, B.Sc., O.D. 

Dr. Andrea Koo was born in Toronto and grew up in Mississauga. She completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry and Vision Science in 2015. Dr. Koo’s clinical experience includes an externship at the Eye Centers of South Florida in the United States, where she worked closely with many eye care specialists to help manage and treat patients in the areas of ocular disease, refractive surgery, contact lenses, neuroophthalmology, oculoplastics, and primary care. She has also volunteered on a mission trip to Peru with VOSH International, providing care to underprivileged populations. She is proud to return to serve the Mississauga community with their vision and eye care needs. Dr. Koo is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO) and Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO). In her free time, she likes to jog, bake cookies, and watch movies.
